Intent of an Inspection: Our inspections are visual
and operational inspections. We inspect what we can see, without
major dismantling or moving of any equipemnt, home furnishings;
including floor coverings or any major/large storage items. Only
those items and areas that are reasonably observable and accessible
at the time of the inspection can be evaluated. The intent is
to not disturb the normal flow or operation in the home, yet perform
as thorough an inspection as feasibly possible.
We operate all equipment and appliances in their normal mode of
operation. If we do not inspect an item or area of the home, we
will explain why. Because the inspection procedure is visual only
and is not intended to be diagnostic and/or technically exhaustive,
an inherent risk remains that undiscovered problems may exist
and/or future problems may develop.
Eagle*Star inspections does not predict nor determine an expected
life of any system or item. No Warrant or Guarantee is stated
or implied that all defects/problems have been discovered or that
will pay for the repair of any defect not discovered.
Home Warranty polices are available from other
sources. Ask your real estate agent for information and details.
Compliance with any federal, state or local codes and/or other
legal requirements is not within the scope or intent of theexisting/resale
home inspection. Have it be known, that the acceptance of the
report and/or payment for the inspection service is an acknowledgement,
acceptance and agreement by the client named on that specfic report,
to the terms of this service agreement, limitations listed and
an acknowledgement that the inspection includes only those items
listed as inspected on the inspection report.
Other Services:
The following services are available, upon request, from other
contract professional sources and can be scheduled in conjunction
with the inspection performed by Eagle*Star inspections:
• Termite/wood destroying insect
inspection
• swimming pools/hot tubs/spas
• lawn sprinkler systems
• radon testing
• environmental: mold/mildew testing
• burglar alarm systems (Brinks Security will perform
at No Charge).
• well and septic system testing
• extensive stucco/EIFS exterior coverings: Eagle*Star
does inspect homes with these exterior coverings, however, as
a disclaimer, we must mention however; If there is no evidence
of moisture, it does not necessarily mean there is none. (Stucco
& EIFS have been known to have hidden moisture areas).
